PLAN FOR EL MONTE

As a lifelong resident of El Monte, I am running for City Council District 3 because we need experienced leadership that is fighting for you!

My experience as an Educator and Policy Analyst has prepared me to move our community forward and seek innovative opportunities. With a Master’s Degree and a Doctoral Degree candidate, I firmly believe I'm well qualified to lead our city in the right direction.

As an El Monte City School Board Member for four years, I supported the health and well-being of our school community ensuring resources, safe and secure schools, implementing our dual Mandarin immersion program, and maintained a fiscally sound budget.

My collaborative approach to decision making ensures that residents are heard and problems are solved in the most effective way.

As your Councilwoman I will take bold action to:

Ensure a high level of public safety for our community: Collaborate with our Police Department.
Reduce homelessness and expand affordable housing.
Attract new employers and support businesses.
Support reliable city services and infrastructure.
